The Hansen School annually supports The Stoughton Food Pantry through a food collection that usually begins in the month of December. During this year of wellness at the Hansen School we will have an ongoing collection with a basket located in the school lobby.
This support for the pantry is provided throughout the school year as each school within the Stoughton Public School System choses one month for collection. This is a worthwhile community project but is certainly optional for all Hansen families.
In order to avoid duplication and ensure a variety of specific basic items of expressed need at the food pantry, we issue a wish list for each grade level to donate.
Donations to the local food pantry can be made throughout the year at various locations within the town including the post office.The Stoughton Food Pantry is located at the United Methodist Church grounds and assists well over 250 families per month.
