Snyder's Stoughton, Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010
The Boys Soccer team played Foxboro on Monday, October 4, with a 1-1 tie. Stoughton was down 1-0 at half time to the Chieftains until the second half, when Paul Solem crossed the ball to Richard Gonsalves to tie the game 1-1. It was Paul Solem's second assist and Richard Gonsalves's fourth goal on the season. The Knights play Franklin home this Wednesday, October 6, at 3:30 p.m.

Snyder's Stoughton, Friday, Oct. 8, 2010
The Boys Soccer Team lost a battle between Franklin High School October 7 on the pitch at Stoughton High School. Stoughton battled strong but came up on the other end of the scoreboard, falling 2-0. Solid performances by Freshman Mike Gallagher, Senior Captain Scott Mitchell, Junior Steven Colling and Senior Byran Arnott. The team travels to King Phillip October 8, kick off at 3:30 p.m.

Snyder's Stoughton, Monday, Oct. 18, 2010
The Boys Soccer Team played the Tigers from Oliver Ames this past Friday, October 15, with a 0-0 tie. The Stoughton Black Knights came out strong especially in the second half on the attack from Senior Captain Paul Solem, where Stoughton's luck was not falling their way. Other strong performances came from Junior Goalie Mike Vulakh, saving ten shots, and recording his first shutout of the season. The Knights play three games this week. Tuesday (10/19) at Mansfield, Thursday (10/21) at North Attleboro and Friday (10/22) home against Attleboro.

Snyder's Stoughton, Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010
The Black Knights crushed the Eagles hopes of a tournament birth with a 1-1 tie on Monday, October 25. The Knights goal came from Freshman Mike Gallagher. It was his first goal of the season. The Black Knights fought hard and there were big saves from Junior Mike Vulakh to hold off Sharon from a victory. The Black Knights will be celebrating Senior Day this coming Wednesday, October 27, home on the pitch against North Attleboro at 3:30 p,m. Please come and celebrate the Seniors and their athletic success.
