When does my child go to specialists?
Your child has five different specialists during the week.
Library is on Mondays. Don't forget to return your book!
Computer class is held on Tuesdays. A favorite class for all the kids!
Physical Education class is on Wednesday. Don't forget your sneakers!
Art class is on Thursday. A smock shoud be in school to protect your clothes!
Music is held on Friday. Don't forget to bring your instrument!
Who do I contact when my child is going to be absent?
If your child is going to be absent due to an illness, please contact the school office as early as possible. The school nurse will make a phone call home to check on the well-being of every student marked absent for the day. Your phone call will make her job a lot easier.
Will my child have to make-up missing work for an extended absence?
If your child is absent for an extended period of time due to an illness, make-up work will not be sent home during the child's illness. I will try to work with your child upon his/her return to ensure the continuity of skill development.
How can I reach my child's teacher if I have some concerns about my child's progress?
If you have any concerns about your child's school work, please do not hesitate to contact the school office to set up an appointment. I can't always take calls during the school day, but I will return your call as soon as I can. Working together will ensure your child's academic and social success!
